C.U.R.E. National Action Alert: Bring down unjust, expensive prison phone rates

Source: Charlie Sullivan of  curenational.org

I am asking that you help bring down prison phone rates to help families of the incarcerated by doing these two things:

(1) Ask your two members of the Senate to co-sponsor Senate Bill 1541. It is called the “Martha Wright-Reed Just and Reasonable Communications Act of 2021”

This capitol phone number will get you to your senators: 202-224-3121

If you prefer to email, click here to find your senators. Type the name of your state in the search field above the list of senators (not the general search field at the top of the page!)

Read the press release of Senate Bill 1541

Read Senate Bill 1541

(2) Ask your House of Representatives member to co-sponsor HR Bill 2489. It is called the “Martha Wright Prison Phone Justice Act”

The same capitol phone number you used above will also get you to your representative: 202-224-3121

If you prefer to email, click here to find your representative

Read HR Bill 2489 the press release

Thank you for helping the families of the incarcerated!

For people forced forced to register who get busted for FTR or reoffend this Bill would benefit them tremendously, that’s if they even still have family and friends that they can call.

Good luck

This is interesting and I’m sure plenty of people here want to read about it, but it has nothing to do with the Oppression Lists (OLs) or PFRs. PFRs are not in jail and very few will ever commit any kind of serious crime so very few will spend any significant time in jail. So, it’s not really relevant.

This does seem like a great time to reinforce that I think PFRs should be retaliating for the existence of the OLs every day. Personally, I take action every day. I have ongoing actions in place so I like to think I’m actually acting every single second of every day. Just like passive income, passive retaliation is the best. Never ending. It even works while you sleep!

America has been burning for years now. Some of us are winning. Others aren’t and I believe that by far the vast majority of RASTs (Registry A**holes/Supporters/Terrorists) are losing. They aren’t the sharpest bunch. The OLs will continue to help the destruction. I know for sure that China is loving it. Surely plenty of other countries as well.
